From a villa to a KunsthausThe Kunsthaus Hänisch in Kappeln
Impressive art in Kappeln
The urban villa, which has become the Kunsthaus Hänisch, was built in Kappeln in 1850 and once was the parental home of today's owner Hildegard Hänisch. Since 2008, the house has been made available to the art world and is administered by a non-profit association of art-interested citizens. Each year, four exhibitions are presented by the association. The atmosphere in this Kunsthaus is very unique with its large windows and the euphonious, historic parquet floor the house offers the ideal surroundings for contemporary as well as historic works of art.
In addition to these exhibitions, the museum also regularly hosts readings, small concerts, lectures and tours.
