The Schwansen Peninsula

Beaching in nature

Are you in need of a holiday on an island? Why not try a peninsula? Are you yearning for holidays at the sea and relaxing adventures in the open air? The time has come to slow down, leave your daily grind behind and visit the Schwansen peninsula surrounded by the Schlei and Baltic Sea.

Here, the hearts of water enthusiasts beat faster. Sailors and surfers enjoy the beach at the Baltic Sea in Damp. Especially the many small natural beaches and cliffs near Kalrsminde or Waabs are perfect to switch off.

If you have spent enough time at the water and you feel like cycling, hiking or horse riding, many contemplative villages of the peninsula invite you to do so. Well-developed paths in the middle of nature lead through wonderful old alleys or along fields and meadows. Some magnificent estates built in this landscape even offer guided tours.

There is also a diverse range of accommodations in the region. Besides holiday homes, camping enthusiasts can also find their perfect spot at campsites.

Guest Feedback

Absolutely relaxing at the Peninsula

I love to spend my vacation on the Peninsula together with my family. We often use our camper. Last year we had also spend some days in a beautiful holiday home in Langholz together with my grandparents. We really enjoyed it over there as well.

And my children had also have a lot of fun at the Ostsee Resort of Damp during the last few years.
