How to travel into the Schlei Region
Decide to travel into the Schlei and Baltic Sea Region
- Arriving by car
Travelling from the South: Take the A7 motorway and get off at the exit in Rendsburg. Then, follow the federal roads to your destination.
Travelling from the north: Take the A7 motorway and get off at the exit in Flensburg. Then, follow the federal roads to your destination.
- Arrival by train
The nearest railway stations located in the Schlei/Baltic-Sea region are Schleswig, Süderbrarup and Rieseby. We recommend the railway station in Schleswig as a destination, if you want to spend your holidays in Schleswig or in the Schleswig region.
The station in Süderbrarup is advisable if your holiday resort is located in one of the Schlei villages or Kappeln.
Rieseby is an ideal destination for the holiday region Schwanen as well as Damp and the surrounding area.

Will you arrive on board your own boat? Head towards the lighthouse Schleimünde, enter the Schlei and sail up to our numerous ports. Ferries cross the Schlei in Missunde and Arnis. There are two bridges in Kappeln and Lindaunis.
